Westbound Closure Portsmouth Rd from Sainsbury Roundabout to Painshill Roundabout

Due to emergency gas works taking place from 10am 29th November until 13th December 2023, the Westbound Carriageway on Portsmouth Road will be closed from Sainsbury roundabout to Painshill roundabout.

Due to the closure 715 service will be on diversion as follows:-

Serve Waitrose Bus stop on Between Streets, left into Downside Bridge Road, continue into Horsley Road, Forest Road, right into Ockham Rd South, continue Ockham Road North to junction roundabout Portsmouth Road, then normal line of route to Ripley.

Due to the diversion this will mean the following bus stops will not be served from Cobham to Ripley:-

  • Between Streets
  • Fire Station
  • Painshill Roundabout
  • Wisley Gardens

High Steet, Guildford Closure

High Street Guildford is closed from the junction of Epsom Road to North Street. The 715 service will be diverting via York Road, London Road, in both directions.

This will mean the following bus stops will not be served:-

  • Guildford Library
  • G Live

High Street Guildford is closed from the junction of Epsom Road to North Street. The 479 service will be diverting via London Road, York Road, Onslow Street, in both directions.

This will mean the following bus stops will not be served:-

  • Guildford Library

Routes affected:

  • 479
Kingston bus station redevelopment

Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston will be closed until further notice for redevelopment and will reopen in Summer 2024.

Buses on routes 461, 514/515 and 715 will be unable to use the bus station during this time and will now pick up at the following stops:

  • Route 461 - stop Q
  • Route 514/515 and 715 - stop D1

During this time buses may be delayed by up to 10 minutes due to the increased congestion and the longer route around Kingston's one way system.

We apologise in advance for any delays to your journeys and are currently working with Surrey County Council to find a solution during this closure.
