Kingston Uni partners with Falcon
Kingston University has chosen Falcon Buses as its new university bus service provider.
Falcon Buses is very pleased to announce that we have been appointed as the new operator of the Kingston University intersite bus service from next term.
A brand new fleet of five fully electric zero emission double decker vehicles will be delivered this summer to run the following routes from Tuesday 1 September 2026:
- KU1 - Seething Wells - Penrhyn Road - Kingston Hill - Roehampton Vale
- KU2 - Clayhill - Penrhyn Road - Fairfield South - Clayhill circular via Surbiton Station
New timetables will be introduced with additional journeys added to alleviate overcrowding at busy times and ensure there is room for everyone to board their chosen service.
The new electric vehicles continue Falcon Buses transition to fully electric vehicles following the recent launch of 13 brand new single decker vehicles, and will support cleaner air in the Kingston area by reducing carbon emissions and reflect the University's strong commitment to sustainability goals.
Bus fares
The University has confirmed that from September it will introduce a flat fare of £1.10 per journey on its routes. If you need to transfer between routes at Penrhyn Road then you will be able to transfer to the next service with no additional charge.
For frequent travellers ticket bundles, plus daily and weekly tickets will be available through the Falcon Buses app - see below.
Free travel for those holding Transport for London accessibility passes will be available on the University bus services.
