Hurst Road East Molesey Closure

Due to night works taking place on Hurst Road East Molesey on 19th - 21st Nov between the hours of 8pm to 6am, the 461 service will be on diversion via 

Creek Rd, Bridge Rd, Walton Rd heading in both directions.

This will mean the following bus stops will not be served:-

• Hampton Court Stn
• Hurst Rd
• Graburn Way
• Merton Way
• Park Way
• Hurst Park Tesco
• New Road

Due to installation of temporary lights at Brookwood Cross Roads causing major traffic disruption in the area, the 28 service is currently not serving Brookwood Station.

Leapale Road, Guildford Closure
07/11/2025

Due to Leapale Road Guildford being closed at the junction of Commercial Road from 19th Nov - 2nd Dec. The 479 and 715 service will be on diversion as follows:-

• 479 departing Guildford Bus Stn via York Rd, London Rd then normal line of route
• 715 departing Guildford Bus Stn via York Rd, London Rd then normal line of route

During the closure period the following bus stops will not be served:-

• Library, Guildford

Heathside Road, Woking Closure

Heathside Road Woking will be closed from 10th Nov to 20th Dec. Due to the closure the 437 service will be on diversion via Oriental Road heading towards Brooklands.

This will mean the following bus stop will not be served:-

• Woking Community Hospital

Station Approach, West Byfleet Closure
14/11/2025

Due to West Byfleet annual Christmas Event taking place on 22nd November, Station Approach West Byfleet will closed between the hours of 7am - 9pm.

As result of the closure the 456 and 436 will be on diversion as follows:-

Towards Woking

• Normal line of route to Old Woking Road
• Right into Sheerwater Road then normal line of route

Towards Weybridge/Staines

• As above in reverse

During the road closure the following bus stops will not be served: -

• West Byfleet Station Stop ‘A’
• Health Centre Stop ‘B’
• Regency Drive

We will instead serve the following stops on the Old Woking Road: -

• Waitrose
• Elmstead Road

Our route 437 will not serve West Byfleet Station Stop ‘A’ in either direction.

High Street, Weybridge Closure
20th October 2025

Major works are taking place on High Street Weybridge from Oct - Dec 2025 in phases. The following service will be affected by the works taking place 436, 461 and 515.

Phase 1:- 23rd - 24^th October: A317 full closure 20:00-06:00. The Ship Hotel and Weybridge Library bus stops suspended both directions (diversion via Heath Road and Hanger Hill).

1. Service 436  (From Woking) divert from Weybridge Station, Heath Road, left Balfour Road circumnavigate roundabout at St George College (Addlestone) take stand on first bus stop. (Towards Woking) from Balfour Road, right Heath Road normal line of route. Bus stops not served (The Ship and The Library ). Passengers advised to use stops named The Quadrant on Heath Road.
2. Service 461 (From Kingston) divert from Oatlands Drive, Hanger Hill, Heath Road, left Balfour Road then normal line of route (same in reverse). Passengers advised to use stops in Heath Road or Balfour Road.

Phase 2:- 27^th Oct – 6^th Nov: The Ship Hotel suspended westbound.

1. Service 436 (which normally terminates here) to run via Heath Road, terminate at Weybridge Library, pick up at The Ship (eastbound) then u-turn at the Morrisons roundabout

2. Service 436 to operate in a clockwise direction from Weybridge Station via Heath Road taking their recovery time at the bus stop opposite the Library. Proceed via the High Street (serving the stop outside the Ship) Monument Hill, Hanger Hill, Brooklands Road then normal line of route. Passengers that would normally use this service will be directed to wait at the bus stops on the opposite side of the road.

3. Service 461 & 515 passengers to use next stop outside Weybridge Library

Phase 3:-  17^th Nov – 3^rd Dec: The Ship Hotel suspended eastbound

1. Service 461 & 515 passengers to use next stop outside Weybridge Library

Phase 4:- 4^th - 5^th December: A317 full closure 20:00-06:00. The Ship Hotel and Weybridge Library bus stops suspended both directions.

Ray Road, West Molesey Closure
20th October 2025

Due to Ray Road West Molesey being closed from 20th Oct - 21st November 2025 the 814 and 514 service will be on diversion via Priory Lane and then continue normal line of route Beauchamp Road.

This will mean the following bus stops will be not served during the closure:-

• High Street
• Island Farm Road
• Ray Rd

Lower Road, Bookham night closures

Lower Road in Bookham will be closed between 2000 and 0600 from Thursday 16 October 2025 until Saturday 22nd November 2025 for overnight road works.

Buses on route 479 will be unable to use Lower Road, and will be diverted along A246, B1222 and Ridgeway in both directions.

During this time route 479 buses will be unable to stop at the following stops in both directions:

• Church Street
• Howard of Effingham School
• Preston Close
• Longmeadow
• Bennetts Farm Place
• Sole Farm Road
• Maddox Lane
• Bookham Station
• Lime Tree Close
• The Park
• The Old Crown
• The Anchor

Dawney Hill, Pirbright closure

Dawney Hill, Pirbright will be closed from Monday 13 October 2025 for around 22 weeks for road widening works to be undertaken.

Buses on route 28 & 690 will be diverted in both directions as follows:

Route 28

Buses towards Guildford will run as normal to Brookwood rail station, then turn using the station forecourt and return along Connaught Road to Brookwood crossroads, turn right onto Bagshot Road, right onto Cemetery Pales, continue along Ave De Cagny, and then left onto Guildford Road before returning to the normal route.

Towards Woking buses will run the above diversion in reverse.

During this time route 28 buses will not stop at the following stops:

• Church Close
• Railway Arch
• Caterham Close
• Brookwood Memorial
• School Lane

Route 690

Buses towards Worplesdon will runs as normal to Slade Road in Pirbright Camp, before returning along Connaught Road to Brookwood crossroads, turn right onto Bagshot Road, right onto Cemetery Pales, continue along Ave De Cagny, and then left onto Guildford Road before returning to the normal route.

Towards Woking buses will run the above diversion in reverse.

During this time route 690 buses will not stop at the following stops:

• Caterham Close
• Brookwood Memorial
• School Lane

Routes affected:

Fetcham Christmas Event
11/11/2025

Due to Fetcham Christmas Event taking place on 29th November, The Street jct Cock Lane to jct Cobham Rd, Fetcham will be closed from 3pm - 6pm

The 479 service will be on diversion via The Street, Bell Lane, Lower Road heading in both directions.

Due to the diversion the following bus stops will not be served:-

• Orchard Close
• School Lane
• Raymead Way
