Do You Travel With a Disabled Persons Concessionary Pass? 26/03/2019
If you travel with a Disabled Persons Concessionary Pass or a Disabled Persons Companion Pass, then changes from the 1st April 2019 will affect your Journey.
Change to Surrey County Council Concessionary Travel Scheme for Disabled Persons Pass Holders with effect from 1 April 2019
An important change in the 2019/20 Scheme is that free travel will no longer be available for Disabled Person pass holders before 9.30am or after 11.00pm on Mondays to Fridays. This changes applies with effect from Monday 1 April 2019. The County Council has had to make difficult decisions due to funding pressures.
This would mean that ordinarily all pass holders would be required to pay the full fare to travel on our buses before 09:30 each day, however we are pleased to confirm that we will be offering the following reduced fares to any of our passengers who travel using a Disabled Persons Pass or Companion Pass.
- SCCDP Adult - Half Fares
- SCCDP Companion - Half Fares
- SCCDP Student (16 – 19) - Half Fares (Free for Surrey Bus Student Fare Card Holders)
- SCCDP Children - Free
